About Position

As part of our growth strategy we are seeking a Sales Director who can own and lead sales initiatives in ANZ from existing and new accounts. You will be a key strategic member of the sales organisation and be able to take higher responsibilities as the company grows.

To be successful in the role, you:

  • are passionate about helping clients solve their problems emanating from data.
  • have established C-level relationships with strategic clients in Natural Resources (Mining, Oil & Gas, Utilities & Chemicals) & Heavy Manufacturing industry verticals.
  • have delivered superior sales results as an individual contributor and Sales Manager.
  • are a critical thinker and have a mindset to grow non-linearly with a can-do attitude.
  • like challenging the status-quo.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the sales plan in ANZ to achieve quarterly targets and maximize revenue growth.
  • Follow a disciplined sales process based on client activity and build a strong, reliable pipeline.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to maximize client engagement and acceleration.
  • Develop a network across the client base and expand our contacts across the C-Level.
  • Work with local and global partners to identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Provide strategic inputs to the product team based on client needs.
  • Partner with the marketing team on a plan for the region including sponsorships, client events, and branding.

Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience selling into Asset Intensive industries (Utilities, Mining, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Heavy Manufacturing etc).
  • 10-15 years of sales experience
  • Previous experience in product sales – preferably in ERP or supply chain solutions.
  • Acumen in consultative / solution sales.
  • Demonstrated experience selling into Asset Intensive industries (Utilities, Mining, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Heavy Manufacturing etc).
  • Be able to build account based selling strategies
  • Experience selling ‘with’ and ‘through’ partners.
  • Proven track record of achieving quarterly sales targets
  • Commercial acumen and resilience.
  • Prior knowledge of Data management would be beneficial
  • Previous leadership and mentoring experience
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of data driven marketing tools and ability to form marketing initiatives based on data and sales KPIs
  • Have a creative and analytical approach to problem-solving.
