Project Manager

The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee data cleansing and enrichment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, data analysis, and hands on experience in managing data cleansing industry. The project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure accurate hands-on comprehensive data is available to support critical decision-making processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

Project Planning and Initiation

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Team Management

• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams including data analysts, domain experts, and technical professionals.
• Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and monitor team progress.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Data Analysis & Cleansing

• Work closely with data analysts to identify data quality issues and gaps. Develop strategies for data cleansing, enrichment, and normalization. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the project.
• Coordinate project activities, track milestones, and manage project budgets.
• Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders regularly.

Quality Assurance

• Implement quality control measures to ensure data quality standards are met.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of cleansed and enriched data.

Communication and Collaboration

• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, team members, and management.
• Facilitate effective collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify process improvements and implement best practices for data management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to data cleansing and enrichment.

Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (10 – 12 years) in project management, preferably in data-related projects within the MRO domain.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, data quality, and data management principles.
• Familiarity with MRO industry processes, terminology, and challenges.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
